A Creative Hub Rooted in Community
Pentonville Studios exists to bring creatives together. It's a place where filmmakers borrow lenses from photographers, musicians drop in on portrait sessions, stylists collaborate with writers, and ideas flow between disciplines that aren't supposed to touch, but do.
At the heart of the space are six core creatives, each with a permanent presence in the studio. Their daily practice shapes the energy of the arch, anchoring a wider community of creatives who come through the doors: photographers, filmmakers, art directors, musicians, artists, writers, and personalities whose paths cross, combine, and collide. This constellation of voices gives Pentonville its reputation as one of the area's most distinctive creative hubs.
What matters here isn't perfection. It's exploration. It's the freedom to try things, break things, rebuild things, and discover something unexpected.
Studio Share Membership
For a small group of committed photographers, filmmakers and creative professionals Pentonville Studios offers a shared studio membership built around long-term creative growth.
Each membership includes:
A permanent desk within the studio
A large private equipment / kit storage cupboard
4 studio shoot days per month for personal work
A place within a supportive, interdisciplinary community
Only six spots exist at any time, allowing members to work closely, share ideas, and shape the daily life of the space. Your creative home in East London, a place to return to, build from, and grow within.

The studio is fully equipped for photography, film, and mixed-media work, with trusted lighting partners and an adaptable in-house kit list. Everything is arranged to support experimentation, whether you're building sets, testing ideas, or shooting highly polished work.
